Thank you UPS man...50 F1.4 MC ROKKOR-X PG delivered!

Just arrived. Ripped it out of the box and slammed it on to the NEX...well, maybe I was slightly more gentle but no less excited. All I can say is....I'm going to LOVE this lens. I became enamored with this lens after seeing the pics posted by nianys in her thread reviewing the same lens...so big thanks to you nianys for turning me on to this awesome lens!

Your lens is looking great. If it's anything like mine you're going to be amazed when you use it at f/2!

I should be receiving mine tomorrow! I initially got the f/1.7 b/c it was so cheap. But since the f/1.4 had such glowing reviews, I bought it as well! Ironically they both should be coming on the same day!

Awesome. No doubt you'll be a happy camper. Now I want to grab a 30mm or 35mm of some sort...might stay with Minolta because it should be a sure bet and cheap, but I'll certainly keep my options open. Not sure where I'll go after that. Really, I have most of the focal ranges covered from 12mm to 300mm, but I'd like to get mostly primes for my kit.

^^This is like listening myself talking, lol

Seriously, I also bought a MD 50mm (but mine is the f/1.7 -very very happy with it!!!), then I bought an MD Zoom 35-70 f/3.5 and now looking for an MD 35mm (the f/1.8 would be awesome but those are rare and expensive) - so I'll probably get an MD 35mm f/2.8

    NEX-5

    • MD 50mm ƒ/1.7 • MD 35-70mm ƒ/3.5 w/Macro • MD Tele-Rokkor 135mm ƒ/3.5 • MD 35-105mm ƒ/3.5-4.5 • MD 28-85mm ƒ/3.5-4.5 • MD 35-135mm ƒ/3.5-4.5 • MD Rokkor X 50-135mm ƒ/3.5
...and always looking for more MDs :P
