New Here and a Few Pics

    Hi all,

I thought I'd introduce myself and post a few pics from the 5 seconds I got my son to pose today. I'm coming from the DSLR World, but have RA and can't handle the big heavy monsters anymore. So far, I'm enjoying the Nex 5N!

Here's a few quick pics, using the 55-210 Emount lens. I have some primes on the way, so I'm very excited about that!

    It's not Orange!
Welcome aboard! There's a ;ot of ex-DSLR owners here, as well as those that use both.
You'll love your new lenses I'm sure, did you go for E-mount or legacy lenses?

Thanks! My lens lineup (although most are in the mail) currently looks as follows:

    Sony E mount: 18-55
    Sony E mount: 55-210
Canon 75-300 (waiting on my adaptor
The Sigma prime bundle (19mm and 30mm)
    Minolta 50mm/1.4

I'm looking for a good macro if anyone has suggestions. I used to use the MPE-65, but that is too heavy for me now. Just to give an example of the kind of things I was shooting (bugs, oil on water, etc). I may get the Tamron 90mm, but part of the draw for this system were the cheaper lenses.

I have and use the Tamron 90mm and LOVE it. I've had it on four different Nikon DSLR bodies and now my new NEX-6. It does great things. I see them for $250ish these days used which is a great deal on such a great lens.
