Several zooms and two additional primes are included, including a fast "normal" prime and some sort of pancake lens.

The NEX-7 plus Zeiss 24/1.8 and Sony 50/1.8 looks to be a formidable small kit!

The Luminous Landscape just posted a very well done resolution comparison between the NEX-7 (using 35mm Summilux) and Leica M9 (using 50mm Summilux). I've done quite a few of these kinds of comparisons myself, and they don't come much better than this one.

This is pretty huge news: Tamron announced the first third-party autofocus lens for Sony NEX, and it has optical image stabilization to boot.

The new lens is an 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3mm superzoom featuring Tamron's VC (Vibration Control) technology, which is extremely effective. I owned the equivalent lens for the Canon and Nikon systems, and both were very good.



The images make the lens look pretty large and heavy, but the specs (3.8" long, 460g) tell another story (as is the case with the existing Sony 18-200mm lens).

I'm looking forward to this lens. Should make a great lens for family vacations and trips to the zoo. Hopefully priced a bit lower than the Sony lens.
